There are hundreds of activity centres scattered around every inch of the country. Many times you hardly notice that some are such close proximity to your business.  These Centres provide an escape from a daily routine and doing activity’s which can be only dreamed of. When going in and out to work every day of the week. It can get very repetitive. When your staff know that they are going to be going on an activity day, they will be looking forward to the idea. This is when the staff relax and unwind and get to know each other in a relaxed environment.

When after completing ongoing tasks the list seems never ending. The most wanted thing is to relax and unwind. The sigh of relief from your staff when you’re finally completed the last task before going to the activity centre will be unbelievable. This is when the staff relaxes and unwinds and feels valued from the employer. This benefit your company in the long run when your staff feeling valued and feeling like they belong to the company. 

Getting to know your staff

When doing an activity in activity centre. The management of your company will all be doing the same activity and will get to know your staff very quickly as they will be in the same teams  as other members of staff.  This will ensure that all of your staff is on the same basis. It’s very important for your staff to feel that they are on the same level as the mangers. If they are not they will communicate openly and honestly to each other. This will ensure all of the relevant ideas for the tasks are passed onto the company. 

Doing something Different  

The activity centres do a many different range of activities such as canoeing and go-karting. These types of activities are very different to the everyday activities we do in our spare time on the weekends. This is an activity that someone will enjoy and memorable for someone. 

I think that many of us have heard great things about these activity centre’s but will not be very inclined to go these activities alone or with friends but will enjoy these activities when these are planned with work place.

Golf is one of the best type of team building days for the office. This is not the first type of activity that comes to mind when you are trying to organise team building days. Connections Developed  

When playing golf with other staff members from the company, friendships are developed and connections are formed. This is important as there are many reasons why a person peruses to improve their career. This would increase the persons skillset which will benefit the person themselves and the company. 

Friendships outside workplace 

There will be serval people have a strong interest in playing golf in the workplace. This will form connections amongst colleagues. These connections will create friendships which will help the person develop within the company. When a person has strong connections in the company they communicate more efficantly. This is possible when everyone does a similar task to find a connection. 

Find solution for small problems 

When you’re playing golf in groups you will be discussing topics of problems which you may have faced in work or in your personal life outside of work .  Some of these problems could be in relation to computers or they could be having with mobile phones. Some of these solutions could be used in the workplace and might not have been discussed at any workplace meeting.
