Within the run up to the Christmas season it is important that we decorate our work stations at the office. When you are in the run up to the final few weeks of the Christmas season. It is important to embrace and enjoy the festive season. This is our- Decorating your work station for the Christmas season.

Baubles 

 Your job probably involves working on a computer for some of the tasks that need to be completed on a daily basis. You can hang baubles on the dividers around your workspace to help people get into the Christmas spirit. These decorations will brighten the office for the festive season. 

Tinsel 

Some people may like this idea but some people do not like using tinsel. This can be used to put around the edge of dividers which are scattered all over the office.  This is one of the many disagreements between people at Christmas. Tinsel brightens up the office with lots of different colours for the festive season.   

Mini Christmas Trees 

With many of us having different types of Christmas trees in the office and in our homes. Within many clubs, society’s and work places it is important that you understand unless you are the very lucky ones many places cannot fit the normal sized Christmas tree service in the office. It is more likely that you will be only able to fit a small Christmas tree which is very important. 

Mini fairy lights 

A relatively cheap way of brightening up the office for the festive season. Fairy lights come in all different shapes and sizes. They will hang off anything from shelves to doorways etc. They’re available in a range of different colours, perfect if you want to get a theme going in the workplace.

Conclusion 

When you are putting up your Christmas decorations it is important that people get into the festive season and enjoy all the Christmas time with their families. When decorating our homes and workplaces we would use the traditional decorations e.g. mini fairy lights, baubles and tinsel. Some of these items can be purchased very cheap and can be picked up very easily in the run up to the Christmas seasons.

This yearly event encourages men to grow moustache’s in order to save their bro’s. This promotes testicular cancer, prostate cancer and suicide. This is a charity event happens every November. It promotes men to talk about different problems they may be having personally and in the work place. Here are the top four reasons why Movember is important. Raising funds for charity, social gathering, talking about problems and raising awareness.

 

Raising funds for Charity 

When male members of staff are going to grow moustche’s. They will be doing charity events and will receive sponsorship cards which friends and family can contribute to. The money raised will be going to important charities such as the Irish cancer society and the Movember charity.

 

Social Gatherings 

A great idea for money raising is to hold a charity night during the work week to relax and unwind with work friends which you may not have socialised with before, as many of us a very busy in the midweek rush. 

Talking about your problems 

We all know talking about your problems is a huge part of work life. These problems usually are discussed with other members of staff which you are close or have a strong friendship. People are so willing to listen  to the problems you may be facing and will be able to provide some advice which may help. This also promotes positive mental health in the workplace which increasingly important. 

 

Raising Awareness 

Many of us know someone in our friends our family who has been effected by cancer. There is also a strong likelihood that many of us would know friends or family who has been effected by suicide. The most important part is asking for medical advice when it is needed and not to be waiting and putting the task off till it’s too late. The other important task is to talk about things are going on in your life and talk about any problems you may be facing. Many people are very reluctant about talking about these types of topics but are better off for doing so. 

Conclusion 

It’s very important for staff to feel that they belong and valued in a company. These are one the ways this can be done about talking to each other about different problems and raising awareness about the movember events and what it stands for in your company.
