You may spend quiet a considerable amount of time during your working week at a desk. There is so much stuff online and on social media about being active whenever you get the chance. The benefits of exercise is widely known so don’t miss out in work. It should be encouraged in any high performing team as a way to refresh the body before a meeting or heavy work load. So, try out a few of these Exercises To Do At Your Desk or in the office.
Desk Dip or Push Ups
Now we aren’t suggesting that as you walk through the office that you suddenly drop to the floor and give your manager 20 push-ups. But when you’re on a coffee break or lunch. Spend 2 or 3 minutes doing a few desk dips or push ups to get the blood flowing.
Shoulder Rolls Or Shrugs
Many of us tend to carry our stress and tension in our neck and shoulders. So, while you sitting at your desk. Sit up straight and shrug your shoulders upwards and roll the backwards. And repeat. It’s a fantastic exercise also to help with correcting your posture from sitting at a desk .
Leg Raises and Calf Raises

Leg raises involve you sitting up right and simply lifting both your legs off the ground and directly out in front of you. Calf raises then are very simple. Again sitting upright with your knees bent push through the ball of your foot and raise your heel. Repeat the motion for a minute.
Balance / Swiss Ball
Finally, if you really want to make sure you get some exercise at your desk. Then invest in a balance or swiss ball and replace your chair. It’s fantastic piece of kit to improve your posture and will help engage your core throughout the day.
